Meet Benson, He is a 5 year old pure bred German Rottie that was rescued from an abusive family that was prosecuted because of the severity of the neglect and health of this beautiful boy. He now weighs 100 lbs. but was much less than that 4 months ago. He had a chain imbedded in his neck from being tied up for so long. Malnourished and at the time he was found he also tested positive for heartworms. He has since been treated and is heartworm free. His neck has chain impressions and scaring that has healed. The white on him is due to the stress and abuse that he has gone thru. He is a good boy, not a barker and wants you to always be in his sight. He does not mind the cats or other dogs but was never before now inside a home, so we are working on house training. He likes to give hugs, but can get grumpy with too much touching. He likes to come to YOU when he wants the Hugs and kisses. Benson is a wonderful dog. Smart and devoted. It is time that his life turned around And he had the kind of owner and care that a dog of his magnitude should have.
