Benny

Benny is a GORGEOUS shepherd maybe St. Bernard mix in need of a loving home and a JOB! He has clearly inherited all the brains of the shepherd breed as he knows how to open crates, doors, and anything with food! He even knows how to cover his tracks by closing the food bin back up! No, I am not kidding. SMART dog. Benny was turned into the shelter because of an unfortunate run in with a house pet bunny, so we think he is best without small pets. He has been tested with cats and done ok, but we have concerns there. He loves other dogs and LOVES people. Benny needs engagement – human or dog – to keep him happy and out of trouble. That being said, he is a juvenile and trouble means basic bad behavior like tearing up the garbage, getting into food, etc. He is housebroken, crate-trained (vari-kennel only for him), and has excellent manners overall. He is a playful goofball who loves all toys and playing with them. Benny is 1-2 yrs old, utd on shots and housebroken – he is very tall but not heavy – only 70 pounds!
