Benny is about one year old and a very sweet male dog. He is shy and it takes time to make friends as Benny has had a very hard way to go in his very short life time. He was brought in to a vet's office to be euthanized because the owners had spent enough money on him which was not much. Another dog in the family had attacked him and he had a couple of big bites and all of those have healed. He has no problems being with dogs of all sizes and temperments at day care each day. He is quite shy and it takes patience of a strange human to approach him but he is very friendly to the staff where he is staying. He knows and trusts them. Benny is just about 12 months old and weighs 95 pounds. He is probably a lab mix of some sort, maybe with a Rhodesian rigeback because he has that color but no ridge at all. He kind of moves like a hound so maybe he is a bloodhound mix. What ever he is, he is one sweet dog that would love someone with a big heart to give him his forever home. We have no idea about young children and he will be neutered if he is not already.
