He is a flight risk, so mandatory fence, we have him on a long lead too. He is a counter surfer, does not like when you move into his space too quickly, will mark in your home if any other dogs have. He's great with our rat terrier boy and pittie mix girl. Also, with my 16 yo. I don't know how he is with small children but wouldn't trust him unless they are clear on boundaries. I don't know how he is with cats as he can be prey driven if he sees a squirrel.
