Bennie is a sweet 4 month old Golden Retriever or Golden Mix puppy that came from a very small kill shelter in Arkansas. We found him posted on the Dogs in Danger website with only 1 more day left before euthanasia. He currently weighs about 30 lbs. and will probably weigh 60-70 lbs. when full grown. Bennie gets along well with other animals but doesn't like them too close when he is eating. He does not seem to have an issue with people when he is eating but to be on the very safe side, we will not adopt him into a family with young children. Bennie has already been neutered, microchipped and his shots are up to date based on his age. He has been started on Heartgard, and has had Advantix applied for flea and tick prevention. Bennie's adoption fee is $475 and includes the $150 transport fee we had to pay transport him to CT. Bennie is now in CT looking for just the right home. Please request a questionnaire if you feel this Golden boy will make a good addition to your family. We always reserve the right to select the home we feel is best for each individual dog. CT
