Benji was raised as an outside dog but he's adjusted to living in a house very well. We had to win his trust because he seemed to be afraid of being hurt in some way. He's not food aggressive and is completely housetrained, and while he isn't vocal yet about needing to go out, his foster mom lets him out when he gets restless. He's a very quiet, gentle, a loving dog who's just coming out of his shell; he loves laying on a cushion near you and will come over and gently put his feet up onto your knees for a pat when you call him. He does very well with people who are gentle and soft spoken and likes kids if they aren't aggressive. He never barked for the first 2 weeks but now he's learning, from his foster's dogs, to warn when someone is coming.
