But now, Benji is ready for a fresh start with a loving foster or foster-to-adopt family! This sweet 3-year-old terrier mix has already overcome challenges, including a prior injury to his rear leg, for which he recently underwent an FHO procedure. He's also been neutered and is housebroken. Despite his past, Benji radiates warmth and affection, showing no signs of aggression—just a heartwarming personality that'll melt your heart. Benji is a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and reveling in cuddle sessions with humans. He may be a bit shy initially, but he's already proven his resilience by enjoying his first bath with ease! Currently weighing 21 pounds, Benji is heartworm positive, but fret not—his treatment will be fully covered by the rescue. Remember, being heartworm positive is not contagious in any way!
