Hi! I'm Ben. My life hasn't been easy... humans have broken my heart a lot. But despite all of that, I love and trust easily and I am filled with gratefulness and happiness. At 90 pounds, I give the absolute *best* cuddles and all I ever want to do is be on your lap cuddling. I'm pretty low energy, but do enjoy fetching tennis balls! It takes me some time to warm up to other large dogs, and I am definitely the alpha! But I love all small dogs, I LOVE cats, and I'm obsessed with kids! I promise, I am somebody's soul-dog. I am looking for a place to rest my head for my remaining years. Please take me home and show me how good humans can be! My foster at Renegade has nursed me back to health after a bad case of heartworm and muscle wasting disease from my almost year-long shelter stay. I promise I will be a loving and loyal companion. You will have *scary dog privileges* with me as your protector, but little do they know that I am just a big teddybear cuddle-bug!
