Ben is a sweet natured beagle whose obesity has affected the quality of life. He is easily exhausted and has trouble catching his breath. His ideal adopter, with the advice of a veterinarian, will get him on a well balanced diet suited to his age and activity level. Owners who over-feed a pet can cause a variety of health problems and can actually cause as much suffering as those who starve them.
