Ben
Breed
Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler, Australian Kelpie
Ben is a young, energetic and friendly dog who loves to play, run around and explore. He is very affectionate and curious, and loves to be around people. Ben is an intelligent dog who is always eager to learn and please his owners. He has a playful and funny personality, and will surely make you smile and laugh. Ben is a great companion and friend, who is always loyal to his loved ones. He is athletic and loves to be active, so he is looking for an owner who can take him on long walks and adventures. Ben is also a playgroup rockstar and loves his canine cohorts! If you are looking for a loving, funny and loyal companion, Ben is the perfect dog for you!
Ben came from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. He was on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter is so full and overcrowded. If you notice, Ben is missing his left eye. He had juvenile glaucoma and had to have his eye removed. He was completely blind in it to begin with, so he hasn't missed a beat. He's in tip-top shape and ready for the next adventure!
Ben is fabulous with people of all ages and wonderful with dogs, but Ben needs a cat free home.
