Belle has found her forever home with Jan and Stephen in Somerville, MA
Thank you Sarah D. Kathy S, Wendy C. ,Barbara C. and Jan L. for your generous donations! We have reached our goal for Belles' HW treatment!
Belle is available for adoption! Belle is a 5 year old golden retriever mix, 60 lbs. and very, very sweet. She was found as a stray and her front teeth are worn down, likely from chewing a chain she may have been tethered to for excessive amount of time. Belle is housetrained and crate trained. She is loving and smart and loves lying at your feet. Belle would do best where she can settle into a home and not move again. Because Belle is being treated for heartworm, she may not be ready to go to her forever home until the early fall. Her adoption fee is $350. Give this girl a home to look forward to as she recuperates!
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
