Bella Grace's story is a sad one. She came into rescue when her owner got sick. He was too sick to care for himself and needed a home health nurse to assist him. She found Bella in a closet nursing her puppies, very emaciated. Although her owner cared for her, he knew she needed a better life. So he agreed to let her be taken into rescue where we would find a great home for her. She is about two years old and weighs 45 lbs. She's shy and sweet but also playful with other dogs. She would be best with dogs her size as she likes to play, play, play. She is so sweet and so deserves a home where she will be loved and cherished. She is currently in AL and we hope to bring her to Maine soon.
