Bella is looking for an adopter or a forever foster. She just loves to meet new people and will go to them to get introduced and politely "asks" for belly rubs or scratches. Car rides are one of Bella's favorite things and she gets plenty. She goes to my different offices and each place she has a bed and after getting a little attention from those she knows love dogs; she will just lay down and have a nap. She will go for a short walk midday, with her tail wagging and ears flipping up and down. Bella is one of the most joyful pups! She looks forward to meeting up with the local walkers to get a belly rub. She loves to go with her foster Mom to many of the shops downtown and at the mall and we go to the library in her stroller. She is also dearly loved at the thrift store!
Bella is house trained. She is working walking on a leash, some commands and to try a little play each day. She prefers human contact and snuggles. Bella is very loveable ... she will give back be with her person most of the time.
Bella has been seen by a cardiologist in Los Angeles. She has a genetic heart defect and is on medications. It is recommended she not go under anesthesia because of the risk to her heart, so is not spayed. Her walks are limited to about 10 minutes a couple times a day. She prefers to have her people home more than not, just a few stairs and lots of cozy spots for her to snooze. People are Bella's most favorite thing of all!
Bella is looking for an adopter or a forever foster family (whe would be part of our Furever Friends program where Bichon Rescue Brigade retains her legal ownership and responsibility for her care; her family commits she has a forever home with lots of love and care). She is in Fullerton CA. She is ~6 years old, 11 lbs and a bichon or bichon mix (she does not shed). Bella is microchipped and current on her vaccines.
