My Story

Loving Foster Home Needed

Such a handsome boy! He is a GREAT dog! If you like big, Beethoven is for you! He is a 3-year-old St. Bernard. Very tall and very large, weighing about 140#, but we don’t know for sure. He was rescued from Animal Control when his owner refused to pay the fine to take him home. Beethoven likes to run, so he will need a fenced in yard to make sure he stays safe at home.

Beethoven loves attention and will become your shadow quickly. He gets along with other large dogs and children. He loves to lay down and get his tummy rubbed. When introduced to a kitten, he was afraid--such a goof! He doesn’t like small dogs that get up in his face. He is housetrained. He walks perfectly using a Gentle Leader. He also knows SIT and COME.

Beethoven is a great dog! Who wants to make him a permanent member of their family?

This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. If you would like more information on C.A.R.E.S. and our adoption process, please read our webpage by clicking on our name. Thank you!
