My Story

Beau has been kindly looked after by a family who are really not able to keep him permanently so he is now seeking a forever home. Hopefully he will be as fortunate as his sister Remy was and will find that certain household that's just perfect for him. This handsome dude is of course still full of puppy energy and mischief and he does need some basic training. However,he is now settling into his new foster family where he is doing really well with 3 other dogs and 4 cats. Beau is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. We estimate his age around 7 or 8 months. He has become crate trained very quickly and successfully. He has a loving personailty and is keen to make friends with every dog he meets. Even when faced with an unsociable dog who maybe growls or snaps at him Beau simply backs off and does not retaliate in any way. Beau will need considerable amounts of exercise as he has a high energy level, but he is demonstrating that he can be calm and well behaved around the house. Although interested and playful towards cats he is respectful to them.He is good off leash and although interested in checking out his surroundings outside he does not wander far from his foster family. If you have the time, patience and commitment to devote to this wonderful pup then why not come along and meet him ? He will certainly become a wonderful companion for years to come. If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application. This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a dog. Applying is very simple. Just log on to our website at Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue and select Adopt a Dog from the menu on the left side of the homepage. Just above the photo gallery you will see Adoption Application giving you a choice of 2 formats. Select one of these and complete the information requested, then save it as a file and e mail it to us. If you do not get a response within 24 hours of sending your application, please call us at 716/326-PAWS. And be sure to check out all the dogs and puppies eagerly awaiting homes.
