Meet Beau!

Beau is a sweet and adorable little dog (tiny actually, he weighs in just over 5 lbs.!) looking for a new forever home. Small dogs like Beau can live to be 16-years-old and older, so at 10-years-young Beau has plenty of live and love left to give to his new family.

Beau is a super happy-go-lucky and confident older boy and he will do well in a home with adults-only, or without young children. Some of Beau’s favorite activities include snuggling and kissing his people friends and exploring the agility yard at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA.

Beau came to the San Diego Humane Society from the County Department of Animal Services because he had severe dental problems. The Humane Society’s veterinarians performed surgery to correct Beau’s dental issue and his prognosis is good. To help explain Beau’s medical history to his new pet parents, a consultation with a Humane Society veterinarian is included in Beau’s $100 adoption fee.

If you’re looking for a smaller sized dog who’ll bring love and laughter to your family for years to come, then Beau just might be the perfect canine companion for you! Come meet Beau at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA today!

ADOPTION INFORMATION:

San Diego Humane Society and SPCA pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped (some small animals, reptiles and birds excepted) prior to adoption. Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to the Society in person to meet with an adoption counselor and complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other pets, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone. We do not place holds or do adoptions over the phone and we do not ship pets.

For more information on the adoption process or to fill out an adoption questionnaire click here.
