Beau was brought to a local vet because his caregivers were afraid that there would be problems with a neighbor. Apparently they were scared of Beau and would throw rocks at him when he was out. Beau is a big boy (117 lbs) and his owner was afraid that one day Beau may actually react to the torture. He tried to find somewhere for him, but when he couldn't, he brought him in to the vet to be PTS. The vet contacted me and asked if I could help. I evaluated him and he passed all the tests and we agreed that he should not be PTS. Beau is totally house broken and does fine with his rescue family's other GSD's, though he is scared of the small female. Beau has lived with a Corgi, so small dogs should not be an issue either. He has done fine with the cats and just licked the kittens in his rescue home. He may chase them though if they ran, though he has never shown that yet. Beau does prefer men and loves attention. His rescue Mom is his main care taker, but he loves her husband. (go figure). Beau is HW negative, neutered, and UTD on shots, frontline and heartgaurd. Beau can be seen at www.dumas.petfinder.com.
