Beau was brought to us because his owner felt that her home was not appropriate for him. Her house is a stilt house and Beau was having trouble navigating the stairs due to his short legs and she was not strong enough to carry him up every time that he needed to get inside. Beau is a handsome, little guy weighing in at around 20 pounds. He is estimated to be a year or less, is already neutered, had his rabies, tested negative for heartworms and is on prevention. He is housebroken(according to his former owner) and seems to get along well with other dogs and kids.He is also cat tested and kitty approved!! Although he is new here and a bit shy at first, he is adjusting quite well to our crazy, chaotic life so I think that he will do well in any environment. He may have been abused in his past according to his former owner and our own observations but responds extremely well to kindness and simple care.
