Ten month old Beau is an absolutely beautiful, big teddy bear of a Lab with a lustrous coat with a bit of a wave to it. So sweet and affectionate, he has that wonderful Lab temperament we all love. He tips the scale at a very healthy 75 pounds and from the looks of his great big soft paws, he’s still got a bit of growing to do.
Beau was left at a shelter when his family moved away and we were only too eager to help this very handsome and gentle youngster. He’s settling into his foster home and we’ll soon have lots of details to report on this wonderful boy. We can tell you Beau is house trained, accustomed to being in the house with access to the outside, gets along well with other dogs and hasn’t shown much interest in cats he’s met. Our volunteer who met Beau remarked: “He’s very mellow and doesn’t pull on the leash, sits on command, is friendly with the people walking by, rides nicely in the car and didn’t bark at dogs he met; he was just interested. I would give him an A+!”
