Bear is in New England and if you are want a gorgeous, gorgeous sweet boy, this is him - Bear will put his paw on you if you stop petting him - we think maybe his last family who left him at the shelter didn't really pay much attention to him - I'm not sure how that is possible as he is just wonderful
Bear is an approx 6-7 year old 102 lb Great Pyrenees who has all their wonderful characteristics - laid back, sweet and just so adorable you want to hug him all the time.
At his age, he's considered an "older dog" so all we really want for him is a good life in a quiet home with people who will love him. His donation is negotiable although we fele he is worth every single penny - we know that not all families have the ability to pay alot for a donation.
He walks WONDERFULLY on a leash and has quite a kick to his step - I was amazed as I thought he'd just amble down the street - no way! He was loving it.
Foster mom believes he is house trained - he had one accident when first arriving but not one since.
Bear is a wanderer for sure though so either a fenced in yard (over 4' as foster found out he was able to jump :) - he took a tour of town and was found at the local CAT CLINIC having some lunch or a nice run for him. He does seem to like being outdoors so i'd say a yard, even if very small is a must!
He is fine with the foster's dog (pays not attention) and my guess with cats it would be the same. He is not a "playful" dog so if you're looking for a playmate for your current dog, probably not this guy!.
Consider Bear for you home - maybe he'll stop his wandering when he finds people who realy care about him.
