Meet Bear! He is a 5 yr. old chocolate Cocker Spaniel. He is housebroken, crate-trained, micro-chipped, current on shots, heartworm negative and on meds. He is good with other dogs and school aged children. He loves to go for walks, which is a good thing becasue he is a little chunky! He has been exploring the neighborhood with his foster Mom, eating healthy, and will soon have a nice trim figure!
Update 07-17-09 Bear is shaping up very nicely these days, still loving his walks and healthy diet. Bear knows all his obedience commands, so while waiting for his forever home to come, he is busy practicing to take his CGC (Canine Good Citizen certification thru the AKC) and TDI (Therapy Dog Internationl) tests. He is a happy boy and will surely put smiles on the faces of the people we hope to visit in nursing homes and hospitals.
Bear - Update 5-10-09 Bear is doing quite well on his new walking routine and healthy diet. To date he has lost 4.5 lbs. and toning up his manly figure!!!!
He absolutely loves his daily walks and his new diet. His personality comes out more and more as we know him. He is quite a cutie!
Bear's adoption fee is $150, a secure fenced yard is a required, and adoption within a 50 mile-radius of St. Louis ONLY!
