My Story

REST IN PEACE BEAR. Our sweet boy had only 9 days to be in our care before we discovered that he had osteosarcoma in his front leg. His back knee on the left leg was not able to carry his weight and he needed surgery to repair that as well. This sweet boy has left such an impression on our lives. Whitney and Lisa were his foster moms during that time and they took such wonderful care of him and loved him even to the last minutes he was with us.
We will miss his slurpy kisses, the way he would take a treat and crunch it up and drop it to the floor only to pick it up
off the floor to eat it. Our 'Teddy Bear' was just 6 years old and he left us too soon. He was a rare Long Haired Rottweiler. He weighed 105 lbs and was the most sweet and gentle dog you will ever meet. He loved everyone and was great with other dogs. His story is sad but we are so thankful he did not die
at the shelter. He had the adoring love and care of two beautiful foster moms and that was such a gift for Bear to have his last few days here on this earth. We will see you again Bear. Wait for us on the other side of that heavenly bridge.
Tell Gizmo and Blackie that I love and miss them. Hugs and Kisses
to you Bear. XOXOXOX Candace [email protected].
