My Story

Meet 2-year-old Bear, the most affectionate boy that loves to be loved and is so eager to find his forever home where he will be showered with it! He is both house trained and crate trained. He enjoys lounging in his bed with his toys and taking naps. Bear is respectful of his pillows and toys, showing no destructive behavior inside or out. He likes to alternate between sleeping in his kennel and finding a cool floor spot, especially on hot days. Bear is a very friendly boy who loves meeting other dogs. He prefers not to have cats in his home though! He's playful and great with new people and kids, always eager for affection. He would do best in a home with kids 8 and older that know how to act around big dogs due to his rambunctious self! With high energy levels, Bear needs plenty of activity, especially after a good nap. He doesn’t jump, but will tap you with his paw for head scratches. Bear walks well on a leash. He’d make a fantastic running or hiking partner. He even rides well in the car and loves his pup cups! Bear would even be an excellent companion to take to work or out in public due to his love for people and new experiences. Bear knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and to go into his kennel. He’s independent, but loves having his people around, enjoying hugs and affection. His favorite treats are soft & chewy milk bones, and he hasn’t met a food he doesn’t like. Bear’s ideal home is active and fun, but also enjoys downtime. He needs a family that will play with him and shower him with love. While he would enjoy a buddy, it’s not a necessity. Bear would thrive in a home with older kids to play with, but no kids under 8, as he can get rough during play time. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to run around and be goofy, but he doesn't NEED one. Can you give Bear a furever home?
