Bean

Hello! My name is Bean. I am 10 years young with a zest for life. I am a faithful companion and love being with my human and pet family. I want nothing more than the joy of being in your presence, getting head pats and being told I’m a good boy. I enjoy hanging outside in the backyard with my family. I love to wander and sniff the plants and grass. A nap in the sunshine is also nice. I get along with my foster family’s 2 dogs and the cats. (I don’t really play with the cats, but we live together in peace.) I do have neurological struggles and I have a bit of a curved spine which affects my mobility. Sometimes it takes me a minute to get up. I can walk and trot, but I do need someone to help me with steps often. I can do some steps by myself, but it is harder and I can stumble. Due to my neurological struggles, I don’t always know when I need to use the bathroom and I can have accidents. Frequent potty breaks outside helps me avoid this and I may need help expressing by bladder. I wish I didn’t have this issue but I do try really hard and I have no problem wearing a belly band if you need me to. My eyes can get dry and my foster mom will put eye drops in them to help. During the day I can be left out and trusted not to damage anything. At night, I prefer to have company nearby (human or another pup) so I can sleep through the night with ease. I would be perfect for a family who is home more often that not and one that knows I am fabulous even though I need a little help. Bean is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, had a dental, and microchipped. Bean’s adoption fee is $250.00.
