What a face! What a handsome boy! Baxter was born in November 2006 and is a purebred Labrador Retriever. He was actually about to be shot by the idiot who bred him because he was too yellow. Luckily someone was there to rescue him and his brother. Unfortunately, this good samaritan couldn’t afford to feed the two puppies, so he surrendered Baxter to C.A.R.E.S. Heckuva way to start a life, isn’t it? Baxter weighs about 75#. Baxter was adopted in 9/07, bringing joy to the family until an ill-mannered toddler came to visit, jumped on Baxter while he was sleeping, and got bit! Guess who lost? Family was told to euthanize him, they chose to return him to CARES instead. Now Baxter doesn't care for small children, imagine that!!! This child always jumps on her dogs and the parents do nothing about it. God help their dogs!
Baxter is a very happy puppy who enjoys life. He gets along with everyone, canine, feline and human. Obviously, no small children anymore. He was extremely playful with his brother.
He likes to play fetch and he enjoys playing in his water. He rides well in the car and just enjoys being with his human.
Who wants the wonderful boy to be a member of their family?
