Bat Ram

Hi there, my name is Ramses but everyone calls me Ram or Rammer. Now I’ll be famous as “Bat Ram” ~ able to leap tall buildings in a single… Oh wait, that’s my buddy Super Daddy, over on the next page… ah, err, pen.

In reality I’m really a big gentle clown and a bit of a Momma’s boy who loves to snuggle though I am always the consummate house dog who behaves as the perfect gentleman should! I get along great with kids and other dogs and I love to please my people. My foster Mom says that I’d even make the perfect apartment or condo companion because I’m sooooooooo laid back indoors! I lucked out when my foster Mom took me to her home ~ she treats me real special, saying I’m so smart, such a good boy and the best dog she’s ever seen… I’d do anything she asks for all those extra hugs and kisses ~ including wearing these silly costumes she comes up with ~ I just looooooove to win her approval and the cuddles she gives out in return!!! I’ve heard that laps are for sissies though so I’ll put my head on your leg or lean into your arms for a big hug, and it’s really cool to just lay at your feet and entertain myself with one of my favorite bones. I’ve also learned to play fetch and to “sit”, “stay”, “wait”, “load up” and I even shake with BOTH hands (err, ok ~ paws) plus I’m completely house, crate, car and even leash trained ~ putting my head through the loop and walking nicely on lead to go out for another batty adventure! There’s lots of other dogs here so I’m highly socialized, even made friends with everyone in the group… not too big on mice, squirrels or cats though, pesky things. Donning my alter ego as the Caped Crusader, I make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers with a short series of alarm barks designed to alert you to unknown visitors but I’m especially good with people ~ even the UPS man! My foster Mom lets me run the whole property and sleep in a nice cushy bed without a crate, none of the other dogs get to do that but she trusts me a lot ‘cause I’ve never had an accident. She calls me her special “breed ambassador”, guess that means I’m a good boy! I’d really like to have a special person(s) of my very own, one who’ll teach me new things and maybe even take me to classes where I can show off my talents ~ I promise to shower you with love and a life time of devotion in return!

Be sure to see my girlfriend, “Yoda Belle”! Our foster mom said that she couldn’t find a cat woman outfit… but my Belle is a livin doll no matter what she’s wearin!!!

Ramses is a 3 to 4 year old, full grown 70 lb., neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier / Lab mix, who is up-to-date with all routine shots, preventatives and micro-chipped. His $150 adoption fee includes his neuter, de-worming, heartworm test, complete vaccine series, first month of heartworm and Frontline preventatives, microchip and basic behavior training ~ he’s a ready made family pet who’s earned his own home!
