After being tied up as a stud dog for almost 8 years, this little (4.5 lbs.) fellow had a lot to overcome. He had been teased and abused and didn't trust anyone for a long time. Now he is a sweetheart MOST of the time. However, he still has flashbacks and has moments where he doesn't want to be handled. He can not be placed in a home with children, but he is good with other dogs and with cats. He loves to be cuddled and carried. He likes to ride in the car and is easy to bathe in the sink. He has come a long way, but still needs someone with patience who won't get their feelings hurt if he rejects them once in awhile. He has a canine version of post-traumatic-stress-disorder and need love and patience. About 95% of the time he is terrific. He is housetrained and loves being loves (most of the time!).
