Bart is a male purebred Border Collie who is estimated at 1-1.5 years of age. Bart came to the very crowded shelter after he was picked up as a stray or lost dog in Magoffin County. Bart was never reclaimed so is now in need of another family to love. Bart is a beautiful boy, with his long, black flowing coat trimmed out with white boots, chest and a thin white blaze up his forehead. He is extremely intelligent and very affectionate and loving. He learns very easily (as most Borders do!) and gets along well with other dogs, children and adults! He would be the ideal family companion, especially a family who loved to take walks and would love company! Though walks would be great, he would also do well in a fenced yard where he could get some exercise or a large farm where he had room to run. Though he is not as overactive as a lot of Border Collies are known to be, he would still benefit from some daily exercise (as would most dogs!)
