Barrett is a very lovable, happy-go-lucky dog that we think is a Boxer/Hound mix who is 18 months old and weighing in at 55 lbs of playfulness and love. He craves being around people and playing with his black lab foster sister. He loves to play fetch and enjoying galloping around the back yard. When playtime is over, he will lay and chew on his Kong (which he loves!) or fall asleep at your feet. Barrett will let you know when someone is coming to the door but goes back to his happy self once you've been alerted. He's housebroken (he sits by the door when he needs to go outside) and is crate trained. Barrett is quickly learning his leash manners. He is working on his commands such as sit and stay. He would be great for a family with older children as he doesn't always remember his size when he is playing. He is a loving and happy dog.
