*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Barrett! He is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Barrett has large puppy dog eyes that just beg for attention and love. He enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with them. Before he went to PACK, he was around cats and didn't seem to be bugged by them. If someone or something loves Barrett, he will pretty much be their bestie for life. He's met a couple kids too and been sweet and kind to them. Although he may try to plant a big ol' wet kiss on their face. He likes to fetch and brings it back every time! He also loves to go for walks, runs, or hikes.. really anything outdoorsy & Barrett's your man. Although he likes the outdoors, he also knows how to be calm and curl up on the couch with you too. Barrett is still young and at times a bit distracted. He's starting to learn how to have a better attention span, but it's a work in progress. He will graduate towards the middle of August.
