Barney - 12 year old male Basset Hound mix. Barney was rescued on his last day from the Harbor shelter. Although it looked like Barney got a rough start in life, the shelter volunteers realized what a gem he really was and found a foster home so he would be safe. Barney really enjoys going to the dog park and loves to ride in the car. Barney is a very mellow dog that gets along with all the dogs and cats he’s ever met. He is also really good around children. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He likes to hang out with his foster mom and her dogs at the house. He weighs about 53 lbs. Barney has been neutered, microchipped and is UTD on his shots. He weighs about. He recently even got his teeth cleaned. He’s currently on thyroid medication that he will have to take for the rest of his life, but that doesn’t seem to slow him down one bit.
