Hi there! I'm Barney, an 11-year-old Lab with a heart full of love for life. I'm on the lookout for my forever home, maybe a family with older kiddos, or just someone looking for a gentle, faithful walking partner. Did I say I'm really good at walking? Because I am! I don't pull on the leash at all. I also love-love-LOVE water! My foster mom gave me a little wading pool that I like to lie in, especially in hot weather. I'm at that perfect age - not too young and not too old. I still have plenty of energy and a let's-go attitude!
It's best if I meet everyone in the home to make sure we can all keep up with each other and get along well. My foster mom says I'm handsome and just the right size: big enough to hug and small enough to take car rides (which I LOVE!), and then curl up into a ball for sleep. I can "sit" and I'm working on "shake" and "lie down," which were pretty easy to learn. What could you teach me?
