Barkley

Hi there!! My name is Barkley. I am about 3 years old and just now discovering what fun is!! I was recently given up by a breeder and now I get to spend my days playing and having fun. I was really scared at first and barked at everything that moved or made noise. Man, all that stuff was scary!! Now, I have figured out that shutting doors, dishwashers and TVs aren't too bad after all. I was also scared when my foster Mom picked me up but now I jump up when she picks me up so I can get into her arms more quickly. I have also learned how to PLAY!! I love to play chase with Scobie and Zachery, my foster brothers (westies, of course!) and I think it's really cool to try to catch my tail! I am getting to be a puppy all over again. I'm also learning how to do my business outside like the other dogs. I never have an accident in my bed at night and I try to not do anything where my foster Mom doesn't want me to. I am a tall lean boy and I have floppy ears. My Mom says that makes me very special because I look a little bit different than all those other westies. She says that I am unique! and that it's OK to be that way.

I sure am enjoying life. I do want a home of my own though and I really need other dogs to play with. Do you have a special place in your heart for someone special like me? I will be your forever friend and take really good care of you! Please adopt me soon as I want to learn more about being loved and having friends to play with. I am waiting for you!
