Barbie

Barbie is a beautiful white and tan 3 year old female pittie mix. She is in the kennel at our Avondale location so if anyone would like a meet and greet, please call or email to set up an appointment. She is spayed, and up to date on her vaccines. Barbie comes to us with a bit of a back story. Found in Mississippi when she was very pregnant, she soon gave birth to 11 pups. Testing found that she was heartworm positive. So after her pups were weaned and sent north, she had to stay behind to begin her heartworm treatment. After successfully completing her treatment she was able to travel and finally arrived with us at Lucky Dawg. Today she is heartworm free, all her pups have been adopted and now it is her turn to find a loving home. She knows a few things: Her name, sit, go lie down on your bed, go to your crate and let’s go for a walk. Her foster in Mississippi tells us that she is loving, loyal and a fast learner that loves small toys and licky mats with peanut butter. Yummy! She sleeps in her crate all night, never had an accident in the house, is not afraid of storms and never chewed up shoes or anything else in her foster mom’s house. Added bonus, she will love to watch TV with you on the couch! She does not know how to use the remote (yet) so her new owner will still get to watch their favorite shows. Someone needs this dog in their life! We are not sure how she is with cats. But we can test her. Lately she has been walking with other dogs in the kennel and has been doing very well. She has figured out how to get out of leash attached to her collar by backing up so we advise she goes for walks wearing a harness and a martingale collar. She is very cute and looking for her Dream House!
