Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. He is originally from Ohio. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Banks is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Banks is a miniature goldendoodle. Weight: 17 lbs and growing - we expect Banks will be between 25-35 lbs when full grown. This is truly a guess. Height: 12 in and growing - we expect Banks will be between 14-18 in when full grown. This is truly a guess. Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $399 Fence needed? No, but a fence is a great safety feature for any dog. What kind of home would be best for me? Banks' adopter must be very patient with him because he is wary of most everything right now. He enjoys playing with the other dogs here and is learning how to be a dog by interacting with them. The home he goes to will need another dog that he can model his behavior after. Banks is a very submissive dog and will need a confident dog as a mentor to show him the ropes and help him learn to trust you as well as how to become a loving member of the family. Banks would be ideal for a family with older children, he can be shy at first, so older children are a better bet for him. He would also do well with a single adopter or a coupe if they can spend most of the day with him. Banks is looking for a home that is familiar with the energy doodle mixes can have, he is young, and we are not too sure how big he may get. His parents are unknown, we were told one parent was a miniature poodle and the other was a golden retriever. What is my personality like? Say hello to Banks, a young shy and bashful guy who is learning to trust people after being released to us from a breeder. This dear fellow needs an adopter who will shower him with love. Banks will need a home that is interested in training and socializing a young dog. He will need to learn his commands and how to walk on a leash as well as be potty trained. Banks is still a young pup and has much to learn. Life started out on a farm for Banks, so city life will be new to him. While he is timed and submissive right now you can see in his eyes that he longs to trust you and become a beloved family member. Banks' special adopter will have a vast amount of time, patience, and love to give him as he develops into that wonderful dog we all see he can be. Banks' dream is to find a forever home filled with caring and love so when his true personality does emerge he will be ready to accompany you on any and all adventures you care to embark on. Banks' adopter needs to understand he will need time to learn, grow, trust and love. Banks really shines with other dogs. Unaware, he runs freely and happily without abandon. It's a delight to watch! The adopter who takes the time to work with Banks will be rewarded with a BFF that's a constant loving companion. Sounds like a win-win to us. How do I act when I first meet new people? Banks is initially reserved with people but loves to play with other dogs. His true personality will shine through as he becomes more comfortable in a loving home. Other tips and tidbits: Banks was born on 10/14/23. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
