Banks has found his forever home with his foster family, the Cogdills, of Bakersfield, CA!

UPDATE 5/15- Banks is currently in foster care, living more comfortably and being spoiled until we find him a forever home.

Banks is a very special and sweet 5 year old, 140lb Great Dane boy who ended up at our rescue after a nasty divorce situation. Banks was almost of victim of this very bad situation where the husband threatened to kill the dog, so in desperation, his "mom" stole him away and brought him to us immediately for his safety. Despite being blind (from a previous bought of Valley Fever), Banks gets around extremely well, and has become a favorite here at the rescue. He walks great on the leash and walks RIGHT next to you, using your body and hand to guide him forward on walks. He strolls around the yard just happy to be alive to smell the air and relax in the safety of the facility, but we really don't want this to be his final destination... this dog deserves SO MUCH MORE. He's been to hell and back and he deserves nothing but the BEST possible home where he can live his life in the lap of luxury and treated like the regal animal he is... won't you be that home? Banks is now up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and comes with a free month of pet insurance. Adoption fee $250.

Please fill out an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. The rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.

If you wish to meet our dogs at the rescue, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit here: STOP! IF you have NOT been notified of your approval status do NOT make a deposit.
