Need some music in your life? Then, consider a southern classic...Banjo. This happy boy loves to be near his person whether you are working, cooking, or resting. Lean in close, and he'll give you a lick! But life inside a house is a new song for him, and he is still mastering his house training skills! We don't know his story before ending up in a rural shelter, but somewhere along the way, he injured his back leg. Our awesome friends at Mardi Paws covered his amputation surgery, and Banjo is thriving on 3 legs...whether running outside in the back yard chasing squirrels and leavers or running up and down the stairs. He's neutered, heartworm negative, and ready to find a family of his own, preferably without cats. Banjo is estimated to be around 1.5 years of age & currently weighs ~50 lbs. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
