Hello there . . . I’m Banji! Yep, you can see I’ve been waiting eagerly for you to fetch me and take me home. For a one year old fellow with big puppy-like paws, I’ve seen enough to tell you I’m one pup longing for a forever home.
I decided I needed a summer adventure, but wasn’t planning on getting picked up and abandoned for a long time in the shelter. I have to admit I was starting to feel pretty down, but always hopeful. Then Safe Harbor came to my rescue and here I am!
In my foster home I love playing with my sister and have about got housetraining down. I’m an athletic, energetic Lab; my foster dad is a runner and takes me with him almost every day – that’s really fun! Swimming and fetching are a blast too. We’re working on my greeting manners and walking on a Gentle Leader. I already know “sit” and take treats as gently as a lamb. A six foot wooden fence will be best for me. Oh, and I like my foster dad’s cat too by the way.
After all I’ve been through I’m kind of skinny at just 56 pounds. But I’m shiny, happy and full of typical playful young Lab energy now and always ready with a smile and kisses. All I need now is for you to fetch me and love me . . . how sweet life will be for us both!
