Baloo

Meet your new best friend! Baloo is an 8-year young black lab mix and 114 lbs of love. Baloo was surrendered to Brookline when his owner could no longer care for him. He is neutered, caught up on vaccinations, and has tested negative for worms and heartworm. He knows basic commands, is fully house-trained and adapts easily to a new environment. Baloo was diagnosed with allergies and responds very well to medication. Baloo is a sweet boy who loves to be close to his humans and is looking for a home where his people will be with him more often than not. Baloo is friendly towards men, women, and children, but has never lived with children, and would do best with older children who will respect him. Baloo is currently an only dog in foster care. It was reported that he previously lived with dogs, but he is very dog selective and due to his recent injury would do best as the only dog in the home. Baloo makes a great work from home partner as he is content to curl up for a good long nap during the day. He also enjoys walks where he has time to stop and smell the roses....and all the blades of grass in between. He walks nicely but does pull towards scents and is a big strong boy. Baloo also makes a great snuggle partner on the couch at night and sleeps quietly through the night on his own bed or blanket. Baloo is so easy to have around and just loves to be loved...
