Bailey 5 yrs.

Bailey is a big, happy, loving and completely lovable 5 year old Lab. Oh, and did we forget to mention an extremely handsome one too at 80 pounds? Our volunteer who met Bailey found him to be a lovely gentleman: “I drove into the driveway where Bailey greeted me very politely. He didn’t bark, jump on me or my car or appear at all concerned that this stranger had just pulled into his driveway! When I got out, I was politely greeted by two beautiful amber, friendly eyes and a wagging Labrador tail!”

Due to a change in family circumstances, Bailey’s mom, who loved and cared for him since he was a wee pup, found she needed to find him a new home. We reassured everyone we’d find just the perfect forever home for this sweet boy. Bailey is, in a word, “marvelous”! He’s pleasantly active, housetrained, crate trained and a good boy in the house. He’s a gentle friend to everyone no matter their age. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and is respectful of their space. Bailey knows his basic obedience commands. Leash manners need work, but he’s making progress with the help of his foster dad.

Bailey loves to chase the ball and truly delights in being a part of all that’s going on. Baths are enjoyed and he thinks brushing means it’s time to play! He’s a pleasant companion in the car for adventures together.

Once you meet Bailey, we know you’ll agree that he’s truly a VERY sweet, undemanding, melt-your-heart-with-those-amber-eyes, kind of guy!
