Bacon

Hi my name is Bacon and my birthday is 8/21/2008 and i am a coonhound mix. I had 9 brothers and sisters, yea i know thats alot, unfortunatly my birth mommy was too mal -nourished to take care of all of us properly so i was raised on a bottle along with my other brother Patches. Sadly my other 8 brothers and sisters didn't make it. My birth mommy is at the Culpeper Animal Shelter her name is Lulu. My human mommy would love to keep both of us but is unable to do so, so she has with a sad heart chosen me to find a new home but thats ok I know she still loves me alot and will make sure I find a great forever home. The reason my mommy named me Bacon was because of the tv commercial about the 'beggin strips' and i definatly have a good sniffer, which means i will need to be on a leash or in a secure fenced yard with supervision. My mommy says i have to go to a indoor home only, she doesn't want me thrown outside and forgotten about. My mommy said it's also a requirement that i am neutered at 6 months of age so i don't wonder off after any girly smells and if you contact her before time and schedule the appointment at her work she will help pay for it. My mommy also wants to make sure that anyone who wants me understands that i am a hound dog which means i wont be the smartest dog on the block, but will be the family member that makes everyone laugh. My mommy is teaching me that going to the potty in the house is a no no, but that going outside i get alot of praise. She is also teaching me that walking on a leash is a good thing, and so are new experiances. I can be a little scared of new things at first but once you let me know it's ok i warm up fast.
