**ADOPTED 8/22/08!!** We believe this handsome dog to be a purebred Shiloh shepherd. He was found wandering in Caldwell, Idaho and we cannot believe no one came looking for him. Baccus weighs 120 pounds and is a gentle giant, good with people and other animals. His age is estimated to be 7 years.
Baccus may possibly have a soft tissue injury or neurological problem. He drags his back feet a bit when he walks and has a tendancy to lumber like a bear. He has no problem with stairs or lying down or standing up.
06/26/08 UPDATE: We took Baccus to the vet for some bloodwork to be drawn and she commented on how much better he was moving / walking! All this improvement from just a short walk each day. Plus, his bloodwork results came back very good!
