My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Baby Moo (MOO0724ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Mastiff mix Approximate Age: 10 weeks Approximate Weight: 15-20 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Baby Moo! Moo came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama along with her four siblings. Moo has landed in a nice foster home, but what she really wants is a loving forever home of her own. Could that be with you? Moo is your typical playful, friendly puppy. She is very sweet and loves to be around other dogs. At Moo's young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization. She will grow to be a wonderful companion for many years to come. Please remember that young babies require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Moo will make a great addition to an active home. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
