Ayesha

Ayesha is a loveable, spunky, cuddle bug. Her energy and excitement for play time, walks, car rides, etc. shows what a wonderful companion she can be. Sitting on the couch or laying in bed? She'll curl right up with you there too, and she loves to snuggle under the covers. Ayesha is smart as anything and quick to learn routines. With a bag of treats in hand you could likely train her for ANY command. Currently she knows bed, sit, and she understands when we are getting ready to go somewhere. Something in her past has Ayesha cautiously defensive in the first minute or 2 of meeting someone, but all that disappears when she realizes you're a safe space! She currently resides with her foster family which includes mon/dad, 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a bearded dragon. She has had no issues in the house with anyone. Ayesha was living in a local hoarding situation with her 9 pups. Her elderly owner was reluctantly moved into an assisted care facility. The adult grandchildren were tasked with emptying the home of mountains of debris. Ayesha is the definition of a Fox Terrier. They are quick to bark, quick to chase, lively, bossy, feisty, scrappy, clever, independent, stubborn, persistent, impulsive and physically protective/suspicious of visitors . F ox Terriers were used to eliminate rodents, flush out foxes underground and for watch dog purposes. She is a very loving and obedient, fun dog. she will want to sit and relax on your lap. Ayesha adores the staff and their children at Diane's. She gets along great with most dogs after a careful introduction. She has a high prey drive and has extremely quick reflexes, so little rodent creatures that run won't get far.
