My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Ayden is a handsome puppy who is looking for a home! He is now in a NJ foster home, living the good life. We love his brindle coat! Ayden was found as a stray in North Carolina. We think he's about 4 months old or so, and he weighs about 30 lbs. We are guessing he might be about 60 lbs full-grown. Ayden is a sweet, friendly, playful boy who loves attention. He's great with people and other dogs. Ayden has met young children on neighborhood walks and he's been very sweet with them, and he has a 4-year-old (human) buddy who he's been spending time cuddling with. He initially wants to jump on them but soon is calm. Ayden is enjoying playing with the other foster dog in his foster home, Debbie. They've been having a great time together. Check out the videos. They are rather loud and rough-and-tumble, but no one ever gets hurt. A couple of 5-lb yorkies told him to back away the other day, and he was respectful of them. Ayden is very good in a crate. He's been sleeping in bed with everyone in his foster home and doing wonderfully overnight. We have to make him get up in the morning - he is exhausted from all the playtime he has in his foster home. Ayden will make a great addition to most families. At this age, we assume that he'll be cat-friendly. Ayden is up to date on vaccines and has been treated for puppy parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange (and pay) for him to be fixed and microchipped when he is about 6 months old. Adopters must be within driving distance of Holmdel NJ and agree to bring him for neuter on his scheduled date. (We will work with you to schedule an appointment). Ayden's adoption fee is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me!
