Hi! I'm Avery! I'm from Kentucky.
From his foster: Avery is a happy go lucky fella who is always on the look for his next treat or scratch. Avery loves playing with his foster dog brother and all the toys. He will often have many toys surrounding him. When he isn't playing, he will be watching over the neighborhood out the window or taking a nap.
Avery enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood, and is very friendly to anyone he comes in contact with. People love to give Avery pets! He is also friendly to dogs he comes in contact with.
We are currently working on crate training and jumping up on people. His forever family will need to be okay with keeping up on brushing his coat, as he may be prone to matted fur, especially behind the ears.
If you're looking for a cuddle bug, Avery is your guy! Despite his size, he tries his best to climb on your lap or snuggle in right next to you for a nap.
