Ava is a 4 month old spaniel puppy. She weighs about 12 lbs so she should be a small to medium size dog when full-grown. Ava was terrified at the shelter, it was heart-breaking. She actually hid her face in the corner. She was right to be so scared, she was in a very high-kill shelter. Now she is the life of her foster home. She plays and likes to run which makes us so happy to see. It's like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. She went from a terrified, flea-infested mess to a clean, sweet and happy girl. She is still a little timid the first time she meets someone but she is getting used to all the attention she is getting.
