Austin is a male Red Australian Shepherd with white trim and copper points, including copper eyes and nose. Austin is estimated to be 1-2 years of age and is a real charmer! Austin was found in Louisa at the local Wal-Mart and brought to the shelter for safekeeping. Austin is extremely well-behaved and a super guy! He is mannerly, loving, intelligent, making us to believe that he has belonged to someone and wandered away and gotten lost or the other choice is he was dumped at Wal-Mart in hopes someone would pick him up. We can't imagine someone dumping a great dog like Austin but those of us in humane work know it happens.....and worse. Austin is not a high strung dog and whoever adopts him will be very lucky. He is a real diamond in the rough!
