Aurora NEEDS YOUR HELP. We just found out on April 7 that Aurora has Heartworms. From past experience we know that the cost for her treatment will be $600-$800 dollars. Because we do not have a foster home for her, we are also needing to board her so that she will be in a dry, warm, and quiet place. Poor Aurora was supposed to be on her way to her new home Thursday, 4/9, along with her sister Jasmine, but now she has to wait. Aurora misses her sister terribly. You just can't keep from smiling when you see Aurora as she is always wearing a BIG smile. She is a real clown and enjoys life to the fullest.
Aurora is about 2 years old in these pictures taken January 3, 2009. She is very friendly and playful. Aurora and her sister, Jasmine, came to us in September after someone found them. The City shelter was closed and the people couldn't keep the girls because their dog wouldn't accept new dogs. So we had to take them to keep them from getting hurt. Aurora is not going to get much bigger according to the vet and she weighed 34 pounds when she went to the vet 9/17/08. Her breed of Pointer, English, does not get much bigger.
