Meet Augy! Hello friends! I’m an affectionate 12 lb senior Shitzu mix that’s looking for a home to call my own. I’m a bit unsure about cats, but am friendly with other dogs and love the company of adults. I have great house manners, potty outside and am trusted to free roam when I’m home alone. I am also great on a leash, walking outdoors lets me strut my stuff! I’m happy to be silly and play with toys and explore a yard, but when it’s time to relax my expert cuddling skills really shine. Though I have quite a zest for life, I was once a stray and found after being attacked by another dog. I lost an eye in that scuffle and my remaining eye has some cataracts, but it doesn’t slow me down much at all! Because of my vision, I should live in an adults only home and would prefer a home without stairs (or a home willing to carry me up and down the stairs). I’ve lost a few teeth and have a bit of a sensitive tummy, so I’d prefer a soft diet and supplements to keep me healthy. I’m more than just a cute face, I’m happy to show you I’m a cuddle champion as well! I am ready for my next chapter and a forever home that will spoil me like the treasured pet I am. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair).
